Well, since it's been more than a week, I wanted to check in with you all and let you know that The Audio Prof is still here. Not much going on right now...most of my time is spent getting an 8-week course I'm teaching out of the way (only 5 more class meetings!). The classes meet for 2:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is a really long haul and gets in the way of doing any research, really.
I am happy to report that the graduate committee is making offers to a number of very promising Masters and Doctoral students who want to come to IU telecomm next year. A fair number of them want to work in the ICR lab, too. The constant influx of new people and new ideas is one of the things that makes this job so envigorating!
