Well, today is Super Bowl XL. Given the parity in the NFL, along with just the pure luck required to get to the Super Bowl, the fact that two of my favorite teams are playing in it today is probably a once-in-a-lifetime occurance.
Of course, what many watch the Super Bowl for--as well as the game itself--is the advertisements.
You'd better believe that I'll have the TIVO fired up to record them all.
Here's an interesting timeline showing how much effort went into getting one particular ad approved by ABC prior to broadcast.
